problem not I have a 1983 180 Yamaha it’s slow on the take off also it’s the way the drive system is designed it operates on belts with adjustable pulleys and it just takes them a bit of time too get adjusted
Hint: Its a moped.
If you’re looking for acceleration, go buy a motorcycle.
