what are the results of my 49cc 2 Stroke gas scooter running without a muffler?

I hаνе a 49cc 2 Stroke gas scooter running without a muffler. thе muffler brοkе οff whеn i wаѕ driving mу scooter around mу house. I wаѕ wondering whаt wіƖƖ happen, іf іt wіƖƖ blow thе motor , increase thе speed οr more power. I аm looking іn tο buying one bυt i јυѕt wanted tο now іf іt wаѕ safe tο drive thе scooter without thе muffler οn.

The muffler reduces noise but more importantly scavanges the engine exhaust gas so it runs better. The muffler also takes heat away from the engine making it last much longer.
dynaflow hit it on the head no pun intended mufflers are important in the channeling of heat away from your engine and without it youd mess up valves and other goodies and let me ask it was outside you were driving around your house right?
The mufflers ONLY function is to exhaust burnt gases away from the engine. And since this is a 2 STROKE Engine it has no valves to warp from lack of a muffler, that is not of any concern. It may cause the engine to be harder to start when it is cold. You must also keep water and debris from entering the exhaust port or it will cause damage to the engine. .
a muffler provides a restriction to the exhaust leaving the engine. this restriction maintains back pressure, that stabilizes the engines parts inside. with out back pressure, the piston is free to wobble in the cylinder bore doing a great deal of damage as time goes by. the engine will loose compression and become less and less efficient until it will run no longer. it is a flipppen scooter, they dont sound all that good stock, dont mess with it…….
